With recent advancements in 5G mobile networks, customers are looking for service providers that offer specific resources that match their needs. The federation of 5G services is the orchestration of services and resources across many domains, which allows providers to work together to provide customers with specific services and resources that meet their needs. Recent work reveals emerging technologies, like blockchain and Machine Learning (ML), can be used within the federation process to improve performance and increase security when federating resources and services.
