Spring Mass Pendulum

The purpose of this project is to analyze the motion of a rigid body spring pendulum. We see various forms of this motion in everyday life and studying this form of motion, and others, gives a different perspective into dynamic motion.
The analysis of motion equations and structures of design are important to engineers in order to predict the motion of various structures and systems in relation to time. In order to study a system we need to look at the equations of motion.
Here we will be referencing the Lagrangian mechanism and representing a system of second order ordinary differential equations in order to get the equations of motions.
